A word about the owner
Debra Mugnani Monroe
Owner of Monroe Personnel Service, LLC and Temptime, coined the term “care-full staffing.” By paying attention to both the client and candidate or service provider’s unique requirements and treating people with respect and professionalism, this method of staffing has earned the San Francisco Bay Area agency an excellent reputation.
She founded Monroe Personnel Service, LLC in 1986. Monroe’s clientele is very diverse ranging from creative businesses like advertising, marketing, public relations, and publishing to the more traditional insurance, legal and consulting firms. Her natural ability for problem-solving, leadership and understanding people, coupled with a commitment to excellence, enables the company to provide the kind of service that exceeds clients’ expectations.
A native San Franciscan, Debra received a Juris Doctorate from the University of California at Davis and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and French from the University of California at Berkeley. Debra is very active in the San Francisco Bay Area’s business community, currently serving as a Panelist for the SF Job Forum, Immediate Past President of the San Francisco Golden Gate Chapter of the California Staffing Professionals Association, Vice President of the San Francisco Employers Advisory Council, and Founding member of the San Francisco Bay Area Employer Advisory Council Leadership Consortium. She has also held roles in the past as Co-Chair of the SF Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business Roundtables. She co-founded SF Generations which was responsible for the creation of The San Francisco Native Jamboree, an annual fundraising event which took place from 2003 to 2012 at various locations in San Francisco and raised over $14,000.00 for three San Francisco charities: La Casa de las Madres, Meals on Wheels, and the San Francisco Conservation Corps. Debra is an inactive member of the State Bar of California.
Debra is also a professional jazz and cabaret singer and performs frequently in the San Francisco Bay Area.
